Again following on from my notes on the Michelangelo sketch - I found these lines from Baudelaire in Derrida's Memoirs of the Blind yesterday. What there is and what there isn't in relation to the page, the hand, the image during the act of drawing. What there should be, what there shouldn't. What is expert and what is not. What is the model, and when must the model be abandoned, and what is abandonment if so much of it has been absorbed, incorporated, taken into the body.
